YOUR ORIGINAL IDEA PHASE
In the world of Program Content Production, it is well known that “Just Because We Think We Have A Great Program Idea, It Doesn’t Guarantee Others Will Think Our Idea Is All That Great.” Those are wise words to remember during the first stage of your Webcast or Podcast creation, you’ll find it’s the difference between failure and success.
Everything from the name of your Webcast or Podcast to the subject matter and topics, the number of segments it contains, your guest, and the types of interviews or conversations you’ll have, and how long it will be, all matter.
I know it sounds like a lot, but don’t be discouraged, we have over 50 years of Professional Broadcasting experience, and we’ll apply all of it to help you create your Program Masterpiece.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT PHASE
Once your original idea has been framed and structured coherently, it’s now time to focus on the presentation. This is the development phase where you bring your idea to life. This is where you configure all the content segments into a well-rounded program for presenting to the public.
The development stage is also your most creative stage. Here is where you must be aware of giving your program its distinct personality, as well as identity. And, while they to may sound like the same thing, they are not. The personality of your program is more about you, and the identity is all about IDENTIFING with your audience
It should also be noted that the development stage is the most important time-saving feature for the production stage. This is the heart of your program preparation; the better you think this through, will greatly enhance your production process.
PRODUCTION/EDITING PHASE
Now that your ideas and thoughts have all been sorted and blended, and your presentation structure has been set, it’s time to produce your program.
The production phase is a three-stage process: recording, editing, and mastering. Each stage requires quality and attention to detail; we’ll make sure you get both.
The time it takes to produce a good-quality program varies. Some of the variables that affect the production time include the number of takes required during the recording session, the number of changes required during the editing session, and sound quality issues during the final mix.
The way to eliminate the additional time needed to produce a program promptly is to be as prepared as possible, and you can do that during your development stages.
